About Me
With a family tree of 'ag labs' (agricultural labourers), I'm passionate about researching country life and preserving the stories of rural people, particularly in Herefordshire, England. I have been researching for the past 25 years, not just in this little corner of the world but all over the UK where I love to uncover the lives and stories of all those I come across
My degree and PhD are in Biochemistry which bring an analytical, methodical approach to my family history research (as well as a good understanding of DNA and genetics!). I am over half way through the "Family History Skills and Strategies Intermediate Certificate" developed and taught jointly by Pharos and the Society of Genealogists and am enjoying it immensely. I have recently joined the committee of Herefordshire Family History Society.
I live in North Worcershire with my husband and son and aside from family history I enjoy gardening and spending time working on and travelling in our Mazda Bongo Campervan.
